Missing the heroic peak
Totally missing the middle where she saves herself. Cuts off on the cliff side with Kerslake.
Missing important chapter
Alice Coldbreath is a great writer. This book isn’t her best but it’s a good storyline that only stalled out once. 4 stars.
Anne Flosnik is a terrible reader. Every time I see her name I wonder how she’s in this line of work. Her character voices are barely tolerable in this specific book (others are so bad I couldn’t finish them) but the narrator parts are, as usual, unbearable. Nasally and over spoken and genuinely sound like a comedy skit of someone portraying a terrible reader. 2 Stars since I was able to make it through this one.
The audiobook is missing an incredibly important chapter near the end. Chapter 38 and/or 39. We’re able to deduce what happened only because it’s discussed later on but it’s definitely a chapter or two that were pertinent to the storyline and we clearly missed out on something great.
