Publisher Description

A hockey romance performed by a full cast including Samantha Brentmoor, Teddy Hamilton, Jason Clarke and Connor Crais!

I swear I only asked one hot hockey-playing friend to give me romance lessons for the week, but three hockey stars volunteered.

The post breakup plan was simple escape from my toxic ex to a vacation rental and stay far away from men.

But thanks to a booking snafu I'm accidentally sharing it with three hot hockey players. One's flirty, one's broody, one's a cheeky Brit, and they're all the most attentive men I've ever met.

After a couple of glasses of champagne, I'm telling them about the contest my ex is running on his dating advice web site. The topic? What makes a great boyfriend, and I want to submit a column.

All three offer to show me every single thing I've been missing in and out of bed.

We make a deal for one week only. It's only for revenge, of course. I work for the other hockey team in the city so it'd be a big mistake to truly get involved with a rival, let alone three.

Even though I melt under their touch. They show me what it means to be adored, cherished and romanced.

But as the week ticks on, what started as revenge fast turns into me giving my heart to three men I can't have. Looks like I'm well and truly pucked.

Three Hockey Hotties Are Fun!

I’ve been blessed with a number of hockey romance ARCs recently and am here to tell everyone about another one. Well and Truly Pucked is the fourth book in the My Hockey Romance series by Lauren Blakely. This book begins with Blair, having arrived home from a week-long work conference, finding that the boyfriend she lived with has replaced her and already packed her belongings. Additionally, he informed her that his new live-in girlfriend had become attached to Blair’s cat, so they would be keeping her. Blair is not willing to accept this cat burglary, and when Rhys, Gavin, and Hollis were walking home after a game, they discovered her attempting to gain access to her ex’s second floor balcony to steal back her cat. The three strapping hockey gods immediately pitch in to help, and the caper is successful. Planning to go out of town for a week long festival, Blair asks for a rental that she could move into immediately rather than in a week. Right before the festival is due to start, Blair’s hot partners in crime arrive at the cottage where she has been staying. The rental agent accidentally double-booked the cottage and, with no other rentals available, it is proposed that Blair stay with the guys. When Blair decides to anonymously enter her ex’s contest for a column about the best qualities for a boyfriend, she requests romance lessons from one guy, which blossoms into three who are willing to share the boyfriend duties for the week. The problem occurs when they go back to being just friends at the end of the week. This book is fun. My laughing out loud from all the zany antics was a good indication that it is filled with the trademark humor and sexy banter I have come to expect with a book by Lauren Blakely. I loved when Blair told Hollis that neither her ex nor any other man had ever pleased her in bed, and, while on his morning run, Hollis uses google to find ways that he could help her. It is easily read as a stand-alone, as I had not read the previous books in this series. Venturing into the why choose trope is relatively new territory for this author, but it is apparent that it isn’t the first book of its kind in the series. I have read a number of similar books, but none with the humor that she does so well. There is great chemistry between the main characters and plenty of steam. While she did delve into deeper personal issues with all four main characters, this book felt a little lighter and more superficial than books by Ms. Blakely that I have read in the past. While it wasn’t my favorite of her books, I still enjoyed it immensely and felt light and happy at the end. I unequivocally recommend this book for readers who enjoy why choose contemporary romantic comedy, which will be available in Kindle Unlimited on May 9th. I would like to thank Lauren Blakely for providing this ARC in exchange for my honest review. The opinions expressed here are my own.
