I’m not very happy with this.
This audiobook is a good attempt to cover the most important of Jesus’s parables. However:
1) I’m only interested in Jesus’s parables, and in nothing else. I don’t want to hear, for example, about what Winston Churchill has to say. Yet Churchill figures predominantly in the discussion of one of the parables.
Minus one star for that.
2) The reader stops occasionally to heavily draw his breath. It’s quite annoying, and it breaks up the flow of the narrative.
Sure, we’ve all got to breathe. But this is not something I have noticed on other audiobooks. In those cases, I’m guessing that the reader turns away from the microphone when drawing a breath.
Sorry, but minus two more stars for this annoying breathing.
