Grace is a young teacher who, in memory of her Dad, takes on the challenge of climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. But as the group embark, dark memories begin to surface. She struggles to navigate her role as a teacher, and the mission is jeopardised. 

Battling with both love and guilt, Grace struggles to discern between present and past, and as she loses her grip on reality, tensions arise within the group. She faces the prospect of being trapped in her grief forever. Will she ever reach the summit?
