Publisher Description

Bear, Otter, and the Kid survived last summer with their hearts and souls intact. They've moved into the Green Monstrosity, and Bear is finally able to admit his love for the man who saved him from himself.

But that's not the end of their story. How could it be?

The boys find that life doesn't stop just because they got their happily ever after. There's still the custody battle for the Kid. The return of Otter's parents. A first trip to a gay bar. The Kid goes to therapy, and Mrs. Paquinn decides that Bigfoot is real. Anna and Creed do... well, whatever it is Anna and Creed do. There are newfound jealousies, the return of old enemies, bad poetry, and misanthropic seagulls. And through it all, Bear struggles to understand his mother's abandonment of him and his brother, only to delve deeper into their shared past. What he finds there will alter their lives forever and help him realize what it'll take to become who they're supposed to be.

Family is not always defined by blood. It's defined by those who make us whole - those who make us who we are.

Review of this is us the second book to the first book of honor myself and the kids

I really enjoyed both of these books by TJ clean they are really good books TJ Clooney is a very good author I also enjoyed finding both of these books in audio format I would hope that TJ Clune would think about running a third book or if he has written a third book in the series we will release it to Apple Books

🤦‍♂️ Narration leaves A LOT to be desired

I love the story of Bear, Otter, and the Kid but the change in narration does not do the characters justice. The characters voices are no longer distinct. Otters masculinity is a shadow of itself. I am not enjoying this, but enduring it so I can continue the story. What a shame!

Good Book

I wish they would have kept the same narrator as well but this narrator was just as good and frankly it did not bother me at all because the story was soooo good. This book was way funnier than the last book was and it was wonderful and totally left you wanting more. TJ Klune has a new book that just came out and the story continues " The Art of Breathing" with the "Kid" Tyson who has grown up with lots of problems along the way and they are moving back home. Might have to buy it in paperback before it hits Audio Books.
