Can someone help me out here... Am I inadvertently supporting an audiobook sweat-shop industry? The narrator sounds sophisticated enough that he should be able to perform this book but instead rattles through it like an accelerated computer-generated vice-over or someone risking lashes if they don't meet their daily quota. Occasional and inconsistent mispronunciations of important words such as "Hadith" are disconcerting. More subtle but insidious is the inappropriate intonation that makes for a dreary and confusing listen. The content seems fine when I can decipher it.
