Fall in love with Bones Whiskey in USA Today best seller Wicked Whiskey Love, an emotionally riveting, sexy, new stand-alone romance by New York Times best-selling author Melissa Foster. This is a magnificent love story for those who enjoy fiercely loyal and insanely sexy alpha heroes, smart and sassy heroines, families, bikers, babies, and more!
After escaping abusive parents and, later, an abusive relationship, Sarah Beckley has spent a lifetime watching snakes shed their skin. With two small children to care for and another on the way, she's finally found a home in Peaceful Harbor with the brother she hasn't seen in more than a decade. She's still searching for her sister, but life is good. If only she could stop thinking about the sinfully sexy doctor/biker who has taken to her children like a loving uncle - and to her like a hungry man.
Trust doesn't come easily for Sarah, but Bones Whiskey is patient and protective, amazing with her children, and he looks at her like she is the only woman he could ever want - and more. With two little ones underfoot, Sarah expects him to move on quickly, yet with every tender kiss and each trying moment with the children, Bones surprises her. But will the fiercely loyal biker stick around when Sarah's worst secret is revealed, or will he shed his skin, too?

An exquisite audiobook
I haven’t read a Melissa Foster book I didn’t like. But Wicked Whiskey Love was an exquisite read. And the contributions of narrators Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber made it even better to listen to. The Whiskey’s are gritty, coarse, compassionate and true dichotomies from Biggs and his sons to mom, Red and daughter, Dixie. After all, they are part of a motorcycle club. Bones is also an exceptional oncologist, homeless shelter volunteer and all around good guy. Through the good works of his brother Bullet he meets Sarah and her family. She has had a horrible and abusive childhood and is just beginning to overcome obstacles. But Bones and his family have been supportive and helpful to Sarah and her children and brother Scott.
If you like an all encompassing emotional read; love, anger, heartbreak and triumph; you will love Wicked Whiskey Love. I am truly impressed by the imagination and writing talent of Melissa Foster. Just when you think you have read her best, she blows it out of the park with her next offering. Ten golden stars for Wicked Whiskey Love in both the written and audio formats.
What an AMAZING book! I always loved Bones, but after reading his story for him. Bones has been falling for Sarah and her children since he first set eyes on her. Bones was so patient and understanding with Sarah. Sarah has a lot in her past to work through and is gun shy towards Bones. She has feelings for him but she jas to work up the courage to her past with him before she can consider having before she can consider having a future with him. Bone is such an alpha, willing to fight Sarah's demon and protect her. He also shares his loving and nurturing side with Sarah and her children as well. This book tugged at my heart strings and brought me to tears. I have loved all the of the books in this series but Wicked Whiskey Love really touched my heart.
Erin Malloy amd Zachary Webber did an excellent job in the audio book they really brought Bones and Sarah's story to life.
What a Wicked Whiskey Ride
I have been waiting for Bones' book ever since we met him in Tru Blue. He is this motorcycle riding doctor with tattoo's who will do anything for those he loves. If this cover does not get your engines revving then I don't know what will.
Sara and her brother and kids are in a bad car accident where they are saved by Bones' brother Bullet. Its this accident that gives Bones his first look at Sara and he instantly decides that he wants to do anything he can to help her and her family out. He feels a spark towards her and does not care that she is carrying some other mans child. He just wants to get closer to her and her kids and to protect them.
Sara is afraid to open up to anyone because she thinks the other shoe could drop. Bones gets her to trust him and his family and eventually gets her to open up about her past. Sara can't imagine why he would want to be involved with her romantically being pregnant and having 2 kids. Bones loves her kids and loves being a part of their life. He treats them as his own and when baby Lila starts calling him Dada, Sara does not correct her and in fact tears up. Letting her guard down and letting Bones and his family into her life turns out to be one of her best decisions.
This book is fantastic and I could not wait to listen to the audio version. This book was perfect having a male and female narrator. These two brought the characters and story to life. The story flowed nicely and I did not want to stop listening. This is one that I will absolutely listen to again.
