Boys after Dark: Jackson
This is the 3rd audiobook in the Wild Boys after Dark series. They can all be stand alone. Very hot and steamy series. Jackson Wild and Erica Lane aka Laney have been friends since high school. They have had a friends with benefits relationship. That has worked perfectly until Laney gets proposed to. This book is a perfect example of you dont know what you got til its gone!! Great job Melissa Foster on another great book. Paul Woodson did a great job with narration.
Pure Wild Hotness!
The authors forward expresses the erotic nature of this series and it was point on with hotness in this installment. This was actually a very quick, hot & sexy read. I would say this was the hottest story of this series so far. Laney and Jackson were very sexy together. This couple had been friends with benefits since high school. It's hard to believe they would be able to function in any capacity with no commitments to one another, and having flings with others all the time, but a proposal brought everything back to where it should have been. No inhibitions in this couple, for sure.
The ending was a bit abrupt to me, but that's probably because we'll hear more about them in upcoming books. The narrator was great again and I loved hearing his voice throughout the story. Perfect for Jackson's character. So, another win for this author.
This was a book with the friends to lovers theme that was a pretty good book. Jackson and Erica have been friends since high school, even the friends with benefits type and have finally figured out their feelings for each other. My only issue with this book was that the revelation came on their annual camping trip after Laney (Erica)'s boyfriend proposed. The big issue for me was that her boyfriend was aware of her friends with benefits part of her relationship with Jackson and did not have an issue with it. The pair had chemistry and I liked the return of the characters from the previous books as well. The narration was smooth and and enjoyable.
