Navy SEAL vet turned private investigator Logan Wild has a thirst for justice - and one-time flings. But when he meets Stella "Stormy" Knight, he finds himself craving more from the mysterious beauty….
Everything's naughtier after dark....
Stella "Stormy" Knight is an expert at hiding - her feelings, her past, and her identity. Sometimes, all that hiding takes its toll, and she needs to come out from under that heavy suit of armor and cut loose - but it never takes her long to put it right back on and disappear without a trace.
Navy SEAL turned private Investigator Logan Wild is relentless in his pursuit to discover the truth for his clients. He works hard, plays even harder, and always walks away unscathed and untethered. Until he meets mysterious and sexy-as-hell Stormy, who leaves him craving more than a one-night stand.
Passion ignites, secrets are shared, and their deep connection is impossible to ignore. But in order to have a future, Logan must uncover Stormy's dark past - and when he does, he'll hold her fate in his hands.
The Wild Boys After Dark books are long enough to burn up the sheets and short enough to leave you craving more.

This is the first book narrated by Robert Ashker Kraft that I have listened to. His deep voice is perfect for The Wild Boys Series. The way he was able to change his tone to fit the characters and what was happening in the scene made the story come to life for me. The story became like a movie playing to me. I could hear the emotions of the scene just by listening to his voice.
I was told to be prepared… this is steamier than the usual Melissa Foster book. I was not disappointed. The story was steamy, hot, sexy, and so sweet.
Logan is not looking for love; he is a one night stand type of guy and is happy being that way. Well, until he meets Stella Krane. Then it all changes and his heart is up for grabs. I love how he opens up to her and she opens up to him. It is not an instant trust; they work towards it, testing each other, and pushing each other away.
The storyline is its own, yet some of the characters mentioned are familiar to Melissa Foster fans. I love how the characters can overlap, yet not overtake the story. It is always fun to catch up with past characters or learn how they characters are connected to each other.
This is a series of 4 books about the Wild Brothers. Each book can be read as a stand-a-lone but to make them more enjoyable I recommend reading them in order.
Good HEA Romance
This was a nice quick and hot little romance with a HEA, the way we always like them! Logan was a PI, former military man battling a traumatic event that happened to his parents as well as the events of war. Stella was on the run from an abusive ex trying to kill her and hiding her identity as Stormy Night. Love the name! Logan was never into relationships, and Stella was too afraid to try again after what she just went through with her ex. They both had to give a little to finally see each other and give in to their love for one another. I definitely loved the narrator's voice on this one and he filled the hero's persona to a T.
As the first book in this series, Melissa Foster continues to create stories that pull the reader inand keep them captivated. I loved the references to characters from her other books to tie her works together while setting them apart. I also loved the characters strong values of family, trust and honesty.
While this book is different than the books in her other works; it kept me interested and unable to put down. Logan is a private investigator that stumbles upon Stella and works tirelessly to keep her safe from an ex boyfriend who is determined to kill her. The pair struggle with their feelings for each other as well as their inner struggles in life.
The narration of this book is excellent. I enjoyed Mr. Kraft;s performance of this book as his voice had me hooked before he started telling the story. He told the story well and enthusiastically. I can't wait for him to tell the rest of the books in this series!
