Trouble at Yellowstone, Book 12: Minnie and Ben head to Yellowstone National Park. Bison, bears, wolves, elk, moose, antelope, and deer roam the valleys; bighorn sheep and mountain goats climb the hills; geysers spew fountains of steam and water; hot springs and mud pots abound! What’s not to like?

Fun quick cozies
Minnie and her traveling partner, Ben, a 19th-century ghost are enjoying spending time traveling to the different campgrounds in their RV. This time around they have traveled to the south for warmer weather in Alabama and Florida and then heads north to visit Yellowstone.
These books are a quick fun read. The characters of Minnie and Ben have great chemistry. The mysteries are fast-paced and full of twists and turns to keep the reader engaged. Cozy mystery fans will enjoy these books. The mysteries can be enjoyed as stand-alone stories but the characters backstories are better understood when the series is read in order as one picks up where the previous one leaves off.
This is a fun collection of short cozy mysteries. Minnie has recently retired and decided to start traveling by RV. Her traveling companion is a ghost, Ben, that has an attachment to Minnie, an attachment that Minnie nor Ben understand. The relationship between Minnie and Ben is unique in ways but their chemistry is wonderful. I like how the setting in each book changes to a new park. Each mystery has a quick pace but there are enough suspects and twist and turns to keep you engaged.
I listened to the audio version of these books. The narrator Michelle Babb brings Minnie and Ben to life. She has a wonderful tone, pace, accents, and timing. She is a wonderful asset to this series.

Trouble at Pelican Penthouse
Minnie’s not quite ready to leave the warms sands and turquoise waters of Alabama but due to the influx of winter visitors, she can’t find a vacancy at any RV parks so she rents Pelican Penthouse in Fort Morgan. Soon the serenity of the empty beach is broken by the sounds of four-wheeled vehicles and a horrible smell coming from the next door cottage. When Minnie goes to investigate she finds that the smell is coming she is heartbroken at what she finds.
Trouble at Island Castle
Minnie and Ben are taking a break from solving mysteries with a bit of relaxation in Florida and a trip to Island Castle theme park. While on the Creepy Castle buggy ride there’s an accident and someone doesn’t make it out alive. Minnie has no plans to get involved in this investigation but the mystery keeps coming to her.
Trouble in Yellowstone
Bison, bears, moose, and the other animals of Yellowstone, as well as the geysers and hot springs, are beckoning Minnie and Ben. While the nature around the is beauty this does not keep tragedy from happening. Everywhere Minnie and Ben visit they keep seeing the same tourists. When tragedy happens twice Minnie knows she can’t keep out of the investigations.
