Do you know him best as Capt. James T. Kirk of the Starship
Enterprise? As the over-the-top pitchman for Priceline.com? As Denny Crane on
Boston Legal, or perhaps T.J. Hooker in the eponymous '80s TV show? However you know him, you haven't really gotten to know William Shatner, one of the most recognizable and durable television actors of the last 50 years. He has written a memoir,
Up Till Now: The Autobiography, in which he recounts the ups and downs, the surprises, disappointments, and delights of his career, which shows no signs of slowing down.

Find out about his memorable "There's something on the wing!" Twilight Zone episode, his role in history's first all-Esperanto movie, and what the cast of Star Trek really thought of him.

Shatner abushed and Offered Free in 92Y podcasts

This is offered free elsewhere. Shatner offers many interesting insights but it is one of the worst attempts at inteviewing I have ever heard. Leonard Leopant (sp) is the interviewer and is determined to make the session all about him. He continually interrupts Shatner in the middle of what would probably be great ( we'll never know) anecdotes. Shatner even chides him at one stage to let him talk. At another point Leonard sums up Shatners immediate post Trek years in about six lines, leaving Shatner to ask "...umm....what part of that litany do you want me to talk about?"
