Best book I've ever read

Awesome Book Confirmed What I know!

This book has become like my personal blueprint. I can’t stop listening to it and I will do so over and over for the rest of my life. I am not a person that is a big fan of self help gurus. Most of them are in my opinion, grifters with simple, lofty and empty promises that are at best unrealistic. Life is not simple, it’s a constant messy grind, even more so when you are thrown a curveball out of the blue that you had no way of seeing coming. This book is so different, it’s practical, it doesn’t tell you that you are a looser, that simply needs to do better because it’s all your fault, because you live in a vacuum in the universe and you are just not begging the universe hard enough for useless stuff you don’t need.
I consider myself extremely lucky to have found this gem of a book. Funny how things come to you when you most need them. I felt like giving up, but this book found its way to me, peeked at me, as if to say: Not yet! The thing is, not everyone defines “Winning” the same way. For me, it’s how do I get my self back to life, after an undiagnosed illness, an accident that left me with multiple broken and mis-located bones and a heap of metal as replacement, foreign to my body and a few years of a bout with debilitating immune disorder, ups and down if this, spanning almost two decades.
Tim S. Grover is light years apart from other people that try to tell us how to be great. He understands that everyone has a different goal and aspirations and that we need different approach to our problems. I have found myself repeatedly beating myself up by being lazy or fallen into some kind of a I’m an irrelevant human mentality, that I can’t get out of, when in fact, I just felt overwhelmed and fearful by the challenges I need to do, stuff that used to be normal for me but now have become a challenge, even if I’m recovered 90-95% It’s just still sometimes hard for me to get up and face the day. What do I have to do, in order to get my edge again? It may be kind a normal for most, but for me it’s an awesome person that I really used to like to be, because nothing used to really face me, no matter how hard or diverse I was in my artistic and approach to life abilities. My greatness is defined by being me, With the challenges I’ve had to meet in life, it’s refreshing to listen to this book W1NNING by Tim S. Grover because he seems to understand this and he has some great solutions too. All I want is to be a winner in my own eyes and be great enough to say to myself “you’re NO #1” or “You Got This” in whatever I do. For me winning is being proud of myself no matter what or how long it takes. It’s a relentless lifelong task for me and it’s certainly a messy one. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is still interested in taking next breath, and do so with a purpose. This book is truly a game changer for me.
