Werewolf. Baker. Protector of the weak.
Ember's large werewolf family has always kept her focused on what really matters --- feeding loved ones their favorite desserts. But when a missing half-brother draws the twenty-something away from home for the very first time, bonds to her family are tested at every turn.
The milk-chocolate eyes of an off-limits human are the first threat to her pack commitment. Mix in arrogant alphas plus unexpected betrayals and the final product isn't particularly sweet.
Will Ember be able to bake her way to safety before her family collapses like a tray of over-beaten cupcakes all around her? And will she change so much in the process that she's never able to go home again?
This box set includes all four novels: Huntress Born, Huntress Bound, Rogue Huntress, and Huntress Unleashed. Don't miss the "emotional and psychological roller coaster" of this complete urban fantasy series.
I DID NOT SEE THAT, THAT, THAT, AND THAT COMING!!! OH BOY
This series would be a wild roller coaster ride IF you were blindfolded, with your hands tied, and a big storm were blowing in! The plot twists came fast and fur-ieous and I never could anticipate the next turn:
unique ideas one after another had my head spinning.
I love it when the hero is a little ambiguous and the heroine is a little reluctant. I also love it when danger is mixed with hilarity. And, of course, it's always fun to see Wolfie and Terra show up.
I finished book 1 around 10PM and just wanted to get a peak at the next book as I was getting ready for bed. The next time I looked up it was a little after 1AM. Fair warning!
This 4 book package is a really good deal, but it should come with a warning to block out the weekend, turn your phone off and hang up the do not disturb sign before you start the first book.
I received an audio review copy and was pretty much consumed by it from beginning to end, for a couple of days.
If you're reading these books in order, they will make more sense if you start with the Wolf Rampant
Trilogy, then the Alpha Underground Trilogy, and then this Quartet.
I loved them all, but this Quartet was AMAZING❣️❣️❣️
