Female in technology, slow burn standalone in series
I listened to the audiobook and the narration by both new-to-me narrators, Stephanie Kay and Julio Maxwell, was well done. I would listen to both of them again.
Michelle McCraw was also a new to me author. I especially liked the development setting, and having a female team lead. I also liked the slow burn and that the characters tried to be cautious about a forbidden relationship. I would have liked to see more supportive friendships and a different execution for the grand gesture, though I do appreciate the thought behind the grand gesture. I would recommend the story to listeners with a technical background who like slow burn workplace romances.
