Publisher Description
As a member of the Bourbon Street Boys private security firm, Antoinette "Toni" Delacourte is one strong woman, but despite her reputation for being tough as nails, she is haunted by her past mistakes. Now they're catching up to her, and throwing her for a loop.
Ten years ago, Toni kissed Lucky, her brother's best friend. Worried it would break apart the group she'd come to see as family, she walked away - straight into the arms of Charlie, and an abusive relationship.
For the past decade she's tried to keep her feelings for Lucky platonic - he's her friend, her colleague, and he's got his own past to deal with. Free of Charlie but unable to shake his memory, Toni finds herself feeling vulnerable and unable to deny her attraction to Lucky any longer.
She's always thought that kiss was her first mistake, but now she's wondering whether the real mistake was running away.

Wrong Question,Right Answer
I am getting hooked on Elle. I met Jenny and Dev in a previous book so I jumped on this story. Toni is one of Elle's characters and has a lot to do in her story line. Toni is a tough cookie. She was in prison for manslaughter. Major Spoiler. She knew Lucky from their childhood. They become friends again. Ozzie, the Boss of them sent Toni and May on a job. They meet Marc Doucet in a bad area and May drives him crazy to get them out. Spoiler. Lucky has fallen for her from school days. Now she wants to be friends again. They get up close and play while bareback. This is where it turns into a Mature story. Spoiler. Toni is terrified and Lucky is ecstatic! She is scared. Meanwhile Ozzie and May get ready for their wedding. Big Spoiler! There is a Major Spoiler with Toni. Then Marc comes to May's wedding to shoot it up and is stopped by May again. There is a lot of action and yes, May is a bit crazy but everyone has each other's back. I would recommend this for readers of Security Jobs to read. I hope you won't pass it by. You won't regret it! I have this book for an honest review for NetGalley.
