Publisher Description

Ranch owner Cane Kirk lost more than his arm in the war. He lost his way, battling his inner demons by challenging any cowboy unfortunate enough to get in his way. No one seems to be able to cool him down, except beautiful Bodie Mays. Bodie doesn’t mind saving Cane from himself, even if he is a little too tempting for her own peace of mind.

But soon Bodie’s the one who finds herself in need of rescuing - only, she’s afraid to tell Cane what’s really going on. How can she trust someone as unpredictable as this fierce cowboy? When her silence only ends up getting her into even deeper hot water, it’s up to Cane to save the day. And if he does it right, he won’t be riding off into the sunset alone.

Wyoming Fierce

Well it had its good parts and its bad parts. I only hope that when she does a book on Tank's story ( and I really hope she does) his story line comes from somewhere deep inside her. Somewhere she hasnt been yet. I love DP's books, I have all of the audio books (everyone). I keep looking to see if she has done Tank's story yet. Heck I'd even get it if it was a book. I gave it 3 stars because I am a fan of her's and I do like this book as well as her others. But I do agree with what some others have said.........the story lines are starting to repaet themselves.

What has happen to Diana Palmer??? I tried and tried to like this book with Cane and Bodie. I wish I had my money back for this one. by the end of the book I didn't like Cane or Bodie and didn't care what happen to them. He was a little boy and she was a door mat. Had I been Bodie I would have left Cane in the bar and made a play for his little brother.

First if you are a DP reader this book will be familiar, it's a BAD rehash of other books. Cane Kirk lost his arm defending his country (rehash alart), goes out and wrecks bars, and only Bodie can get him home (rehash alart). The jerk stepfather has Bodie mother's will leaving everything to him or did she (rehash alart). There are more rehashing but you get the point.

Then there is the contradictions: Bodie's mother marrys the jerk because she is sick and needs help with her medical bills... then he is making Bodie and her very sick grandfather pay rent because he needs money. The mother married him after she was sick... then he talkes about her getting sick after they were married. There is a lot more contradictions... was it not proofread?

The love story between Cane and Bodie was fragmented. There was so much wrong with it. The one thing that stands out the most for me was some how they end up marryed and on there wedding night Cane ends up in a bar kissing another woman and Bodie leaves him. (the only smart thing she did in the book). But sad like all DP bookd they do end up together.

I so wish I had my money back. Unless you are a die-heart DP fan, you should pass. I'm very disappoined.

I gave this book 2 stars because I did listen to it all the way to end and also because I love Phil Gigante voice, he can't do a very good woman's voice but I can get past that. He has a nice voice.
