Publisher Description
A collection of funny personal essays from one of the writers of Superbad and Pineapple Express and one of the producers of The Disaster Artist, Neighbors, and The Boys. (All of these words have been added to help this book show up in people’s searches using the wonders of algorithmic technology. Thanks for bearing with us!) The audiobook cast features more than 80 voices, including cameos by Rogen’s mom and dad, Nick Kroll, Jay Pharoah, Jason Segel, Dan Aykroyd, Ike Barinholtz, Simon Helberg, Tommy Chong, and Billy Idol.
Hi! I’m Seth! I was asked to describe my audiobook, Yearbook for websites and shit like that, so… here it goes!!!
Yearbook is a collection of true stories that I desperately hope are just funny at worst, and life-changingly amazing at best. (I understand that it’s likely the former, which is a fancy “book” way of saying “the first one.”)
I talk about my grandparents, doing stand-up comedy as a teenager, bar mitzvahs, and Jewish summer camp, and tell way more stories about doing drugs than my mother would like. I also talk about some of my adventures in Los Angeles, and surely say things about other famous people that will create a wildly awkward conversation for me at a party one day.
I hope you enjoy the audiobook should you buy it, and if you don’t enjoy it, I’m sorry. If you ever see me on the street and explain the situation, I’ll do my best to make it up to you.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
How do you go from being a 13-year-old wannabe stand-up comedian to one of Hollywood’s most prolific and in-demand stars? With his thoughtful memoir, Seth Rogen answers this question in touching and hilarious detail. Every anecdote is funny, shocking, adorable, or, more often, all of the above. Rogen isn’t afraid to get into embarrassing personal detail (like when he describes pooping his pants on an early date with his wife), and he’s just as courageously honest about his run-ins with A-list celebrities (get ready for a very awkward, Scientology-heavy visit to Tom Cruise’s house). He even gets into heavier issues, such as anti-Semitism and his infamous love of marijuana. Rogen’s wonderful trademark laugh peppers his narration, and he even brings more than a dozen guest stars into the recording booth to make things extra interesting. If you love Rogen, Yearbook is just as fun and easygoing as you’d imagine. You might need to occasionally hit pause to catch your breath—from laughing.

Amazing book!
Amazing book! I love Seth!
Interesting and funny.
I love how honest and funny it is. There are some obvious serious insights on how he grew up. I would recommend it. Bonus if you love hearing about Hollywood and the experiences of drugs lol.
So funny
Ugh I loved every second of this book. It was so freaking funny. His life story is hilarious and very drug involved. I will listen to this again one day!
