Gentry Bouchard and his brother Dobbs and Jenson are highly successful prosecuting attorneys. But Gentry isn’t happy. The fire that once burned intensely inside him for getting the bad guy is now barely a flicker. Even while working the biggest murder case in the state of Virginia, he can’t seem to shake the feeling that something’s missing in his life. After years of being plagued by a deep shyness he’s never been able to overcome on his own, he begins moonlighting as a rideshare driver in hopes of figuring out his life. He gets more than he bargained for on a stormy night when he picks up Emory Jennings, a single mom working late night retail hours while balancing new motherhood with a freshly-broken heart.
