Grant is annoyed. Someone has left a pale green-blue (or is it blue-green?) folded up sticky note in the book he checked out from the library. It is a minor annoyance, soon forgotten. Except new bookmarks keep coming into Grant's life in increasingly strange ways. Are they related to his stalled out literary carer or indicators of the secrets of the wealthy donors the organization he works for solicits? Or are they just random marks with no meaning at all?
