This follow up to the highly acclaimed Cyber Punk Original Battle Angel Alita (Gunnm, Gun Dream) is more than everything I’d hoped it would be! I was uncertain how the plot would continue after that explosive ending, but the great Yukito Kishiro did not disappoint.
The Last Order is backed up by competent side characters, phenomenal world building, a realistically defined Alita (Gally, Yoko), and some of the most amazing battles I never knew an early 2000’s manga was capable of.
The plot thickens…
