Publisher Description

Your best friend . . . or a vicious killer? You won't know until the 11th Hour.

Lindsay Boxer is pregnant at last! But her work doesn't slow for a second. When millionaire Chaz Smith is mercilessly gunned down, she discovers that the murder weapon is linked to the deaths of four of San Francisco's most untouchable criminals. And it was taken from her own department's evidence locker. Anyone could be the killer-even her closest friends.

Facing a series of vicious articles about her personal life and a brutal crime scene in a famous actor's garden, Lindsay realizes that the ground beneath her feet holds hundreds of secrets. But this time she has no one to turn to-especially not her husband Joe.

From one of the world's finest suspense writers, 11TH Hour is the most shocking, most emotional, and most thrilling Women's Murder Club novel ever.

Wimsmom ,

Great start - can't wait to finish it on May 7th!

The only James Patterson books I have read are the Women's Murder Club series and those have been enough to make me a fan. I have gotten them all as soon as they are released and look forward to the next one as soon as I finish the current one. I love that Lindsey is about to deal with the struggle between professional life and a baby. (I hope she has the baby in this book.) Patterson has done a great job developing each character and making the reader feel connected to them and wanting to know more about each one. He also does a great job revealing the reason for each name of the book and I always look forward to that element as well. The books are always written descriptively enough to make feel you are there without being wordy or too drawn out. Patterson tells a great story using short chapters that are straight to the point with just enough descriptors to keep your imagination doing a lot of the work. Love it!

11th hour

Overall it was a disappointing read and left me confused about why it was on the best seller list at all.
