Customer Reviews
2023
Took me a bit to pull all the threads of the story together. I found myself liking it better and better. There's a subtle sweetness at the heart of it, a caring for the characters, a clear and endearing feeling for their humanity.
I think this is a story about a possible future for all of us. I see a version of this playing out right now, but it's possible resolution in the U.S. may be much less kind, profoundly more violent. I suppose that would be another story entirely. Really good book, possibly prescient.
