A Meditative Being experiences purer and purer form of happiness, joy and then bliss. He is able to stay happy loving and peaceful all the time, even in the most difficult circumstances.
Through meditation we can tune our body, mind and intellect to the SELF. If you do self-enquiry you will find the SELF exists as “I am Consciousness" and it is pure. Sit silently doing nothing, yet remain alert and aware, and remember "I am only pure Consciousness” helps you position yourself beyond all the thoughts. Then the mind sheds its individually and the part becomes the whole. Such consciousness works differently and it starts perceiving things without coloring it, without distorting it, and without reacting to it.
