Publisher Description

My goal is not to simply criticize our government (as often times pundits and individuals with extreme, yet unrealistic ideas do) but rather to offer unique out-of-the- box ideas to solve critical problems that threaten our nation’s safety within the current system. These problems are continuously overlooked and threaten to bankrupt our nation and endanger our nation’s security if left unchecked. From entitlement programs, like Medicare and Medicaid facilitating a growing National Debt, to growing economic problems, transportation with pollution, international tensions, and global terrorism, it is critical that we address, prioritize, and solve these issues with a greater pace and with more resolve than presently seen in our government. It will take realistic nonpartisan solutions to solve these compounding problems that trouble our nation’s future and our citizens’ hearts. I pray that it will be my generation, the youth representing the largest generation since the baby boomers, which will be the ones ultimately demanding results and creating the solutions to these ongoing problems. The youth are unmatched with their potential to bring about significant changes to the political system with their numbers, their outspokenness, their open-mindedness, and their spirit to end this broken system; reinstituting a problem-solving government that preserves our American ideals and freedoms. This generation is untainted with the pride, prejudice, and partisan thinking rampant throughout other present-day generations. Through hard work, the free exchange of ideas, and the use of debate with compromise, to determine the best solutions, our nation will be able to overcome the adversity it faces and, in turn, we will create a new improved political system on the ideas of previous generations. I pray that my ideas are not the end, but merely the beginning of a generation finding its place in a world plagued by uncompromising and bleak individuals. We are a generation that has been forced to the forefront of these issues, and instead of placing blame; we will create a new order where solutions, understanding, and peace are at the heart of everything we do. May we bond together and create a country our nation’s founders would have failed even to imagine, all the while, remaining a nation that is the envy of the entire world, yet true to her-self.
