THIS BOOK IS/WAS DOPE. Such an amazing read, well illustrated. So I’m a woman with honey gold waves and man, I even have a can of Murray’s under the sink, thinking about making a wish. I loved every moment of this book and wish it wasn’t over. But the beauty of that is, it’s something that I can read again and STILL feel the same way. I laughed aloud all by myself. I had some shocking moments like nahhhh no way. And a lot of smiles. Thank you JCurt!

As a resident of Detroit and a former 360’s subscriber, I thoroughly enjoyed this story! I liked the plot and how it flowed together. There was love, drama and just enough ratchet activity to make it feel like home. I loved the creativeness and homage to so many Detroit staples. Unfortunately no matter how hard as a city we brush our hair, the “Cardiac Cats” winning the super bowl still seems like a dream deferred. I loved the book! S/o to Detroit! I might do a parody of this called “Connections”. It would be based on the more beard connectivity, the less inhibitions women would have. Keep the heat coming, “It’s so cold in the D”.
