At last, here is a comprehensive cookbook to the hottest eating plan around! The Paleo diet—known in some circles as the “Caveman Diet”—is an eating plan based on evolutionary biology and backed up by medical research. Unlike other diets which can incorporate fake, processed foods and artificial sweeteners, the Paleo diet is based on what our ancestors ate: lean meats and fish, nuts and seeds, and naturally grown fruits and vegetables. Low-carb queen and bestselling author Dana Carpender shows how to stay the Paleo diet course deliciously with 500 easy-to-prepare recipes for everything Paleo from appetizers, to main dishes, to desserts.

This is a good Paleo cookbook if you like to cook. I did find that many of her recipes are very high in fat. I will have to modify them somewhat.

If you live a privileged life and have a kitchen staff, then this is the book for you. If not, save your money. Most of the recipes have expensive and hard to find ingredients that will make it difficult for the normal person to deal with and afford. One recipe actually calls out for 8 whole salmon fish to be stuffed! They could have titled this the coconut cookbook, as just about every recipe has coconut this and coconut that. You'll find better recipes on the web for free. Don't waist your money like I did.
