Sandler's new book is a gem!
can't think of a better medium for this art. Sandler's paintings are grand and ambitious yet so intimate, that a book does so much justice for them. One can read and reread, read between the lines, tell and retell the multiple narratives that these images - overflowed with meaning and minute precision - call for.
