Chiara loved the freedom of running in the desert, but she didn't see that loose gravel. Fortunately the plunge pool in that slot canyon saved her life, but the slot canyon also took her freedom. Jason has been Chiara's boyfreiend for about one year. He is a world class rock climber who has been free-soloing for a couple years. That style of climbing requires that utmost control of body and mind. Chiara's disapperance challenges the control of his life, because he can't find her. The mob in Las Vegas want's control too. They want control of water rights, because if you control water in the Southwest you control everything. But this lost runner is ruining their plans, and she is running out of time.
