Wait a minute !!
Actually, I want to review the early reviewers, not the book. (I haven't read it yet.) Those of you who criticized others for having a negative opinion of the book before reading it have a point. But aren't you being a bit hypocritical? You hadn't read the book either and yet you gave it 5 stars - - - -
She should stick to what she knows...
Leave writing books to the intellectually smart.
Limited in appeal
I did take the time to read this book, and have to ask - is it really reflective ?
Arguments are not put forward, reflected upon and alternatives discussed then dismissed, but more just the writers views are propagated without context or consideration - this is a manifesto at best, at worst a diatribe.
Pick any subject and we are not given basis or reason for opposition or support, just judgement.
An example is Mrs Palin's comment that she is ' sick of the Obama global apology tour" - no substance is given as to the nature of the supposed apologies - was it Iraq, the financial crisis, gitmo, Abu Garaib, waterboarding or something else ? We are left to wonder...
So we know what Mrs Palin thinks but not why, which leaves those thoughtful enough to consider that this is only half a book to conclude that for some opinion is enough and rationale is secondary .
