Homeward....had to study!
I am a prolific reader of good current fiction. That being said, I have felt that I have been lacking in the "classics" and have attempted to include some periodically. Look Homeward Angel was a challenge....I needed to reread sentences and sometimes even whole pages. I am not an especially educated woman, I only acquired an associate degree; I'm not however, ignorant! I'm glad I stuck with it, I read it ALOT slower than I usually read. I don't know if it's just me but this was a difficult read. There was quite a bit of description that one rarely encounters in today's literature. A lot of the words were archaic and at the time this was written, the whole "flow" of a novel was "different". It is a classic though, and certainly a classic tale that I appreciated.
