Like Being a Kid Again
Pat’s wonderful book transported me back to the mid-1950’s when I first went to a MLB game, then spent lazy summer Midwest summer days flexing my recently oiled mitt and heading to the ball diamond looking for a game of my own. This book is a Time Machine bringing me back to those charmed times. I shall read this again and again.
Great read
I just finished reading A Baseball Birthright by Pasquale Carlucci and I was really impressed with how well the book was written but also by how much knowledge the author had about baseball. I was fortunate enough to know the author growing up and reading about his experiences with baseball was simply fascinating. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading.
