Incredibly devastating
I was absolutely overcome with this women’s life and how she preserved in the most harrowing horrific and abusive environment for nearly 20 years at the hands of a known fugitive to the feds and a child sexual predator. I’m grateful she left such indelible marks on all she met however briefly so they remembered her with such love light and loyalty and to the investigation teams that would give their lives and careers to find her story, her true identity and get her the justice and reverence she deserved
A book you will have a hard time putting down, until finished
I highly recommend
Girl in the picture
Evidently Netflix made a movie about the cases. I have yet to see it.
Beautifully written, I read this true crime book in one sitting. A violent career criminal, Franklin Floyd, abused as a child, wreaks havoc in a number of states and in especially towards a gifted girl who he claims as his daughter.
There are a few minor careless errors which I caught.
I won’t give away any more plot. However, if you like true crime, you’ll find this book a challenge to put down.
