Cliffhanger ending/Don’t waste your time

This is NOT a stand alone book. It has a very unfulfilling ending where nothing gets answered and the heroine just escapes, goes off the grid and cries over her broken heart. That’s it. Unless you are prepared to buy the next book, you’ll never know the end. Or will book 2 be the continuation and book 3 will be the conclusion?

Emotional read cliffhanger ending

Page turner in-depth characters. Ending is a surprise and good sales tool to encourage readers to buy next book in the series.

Don’t bother.

First off, it ends in a cliff hanger. You spend all this time getting to know the two lead characters (on top of way to much unimportant information) and you don’t even get to know how it ends without buying the second book. This book could of been half the length even with the complete ending. It was really slow in some spots and I was able to skip chapters and still know exactly what was happening. The only reason I finished it was because I was hoping Alex would man up and tell her the stinking truth. Also I feel like the author tried to hard to make this book like 50 Shades of Grey.
This has the potential to be a decent book but a lot of editing needs to be done in my opinion.
