For the Neophyte Investor

Good advice for any person interested in investing in the stock market. My path has followed that of the author's with a few differences. I use both an old brokerage firm with a team of advisors and an online discount company to "do it myself". The only point I disagree on is the mutual funds I invest in provide me with a semi-annual report of the individual investments listed by value and percent of the fund's total investments. Otherwise, this book is an inexpensive way to learn about the market and guide your first step. (cal45son)
