Corona Geek
An excellent introduction for anyone who is interested in using Corona SDK to create their first app. Lots of example code and screen shots to show what's going on at every step.
Great content, minimal "fluff"
This is a great book for somebody getting started with Corona SDK! As a Developer Liaison for Corona Labs, I've seen a lot of books and tutorials on "learning to code", for both Corona and other SDKs/languages. Most of them are heavy, unruly tomes that spend 20 pages telling you about the history of the platform and why the author is a self-proclaimed expert on the subject matter. This is all fine if you have infinite time and patience, but in a busy world, many potential developers can't be bothered to get past the "fluff" to find the valuable content. Mr. Pugh has written a great beginner's guide in this book, and I highly recommend it if you're new to Corona SDK.
Very solid guide to building great apps
The author did a great job. It explains in detailed fashion how to get started with Corona and build apps in a way that is very accessible to anyone, whether you have coding experience or not.
