Wonderful
Lovely pace, superbly told story. Absolute page turner all the way to the end. A real winner.
Boy and his dog
The book is well written and has a strong narrative voice. But I found it easy to put down. It’s basically a take on the Odyssey and the middle section is, I hate to say it, pretty boring. The twist seems like something that was withheld simply so that it could be a twist. The book is very interior for 80% and then turns into a Hollywood movie. And too much of the story is just one brutal defeat after another for Griz. I like an occasional win for my heroes.
What a book.
Everything about this book is absolutely perfect. Wish I could give it more stars.... the ending is brilliant. The Author is extremely talented. Do yourself a huge favor. Especially in a time like now. It’ll give you some pointers.
