Clayton Calhoun had been a soldier his entire life, but after nearly dying in an explosion, he decided to give up his military career and return to his hometown. But being back home isn't as easy as he thought it would be, and soon he starts to miss the action that the Army Rangers provided. Feeling unsatisfied, he's considers taking a job overseas and risking his life to do what he does best. But a close family friend throws him for a loop when he leaves him his very successful business. It was supposed to be no strings attached, but Clayton can't get the woman off his mind or out of his heart and he wonders if a life without Daisy is a life worth having.
