Incredible finale …
This book is EVERYTHING!!!!!
It really brings the “Tales of Nevaeh” series full circle and even though we go into this maybe knowing the outcome, it is no less epic. It makes me want to go back and re-read the entire series from start to finish. Not in a ‘I forgot what happens’ way at all, but more, just to savor it and enjoy the aforementioned ‘full circle’.
The series-wide continuity is flawless—one could actually pick up anywhere in the series and understand completely what’s going on … though I do feel reading them in order might ultimately make for a more fun experience.
I strongly recommend everyone immerse themselves in this series at least one. Personally, I’ll re-read this one repeatedly for years to come.
This is written in alternating POVs of both protagonists and their allies and antagonists, giving the reader broad views of both ‘light’ and ‘dark’ as well as insight into both’s motives. The dark sorceresses are extremely twisted, and a few of the ‘good guys’ are radiantly full of light. There are laughs, there’s adventure, action, magic, strong familial bonds, deep friendships, true love, and so much more, making for a very well-rounded read.
