Interesting story line
Complex and engaging. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. Excellent!
Rollicking good read!
Really enjoyed the way tension built the plot and then the subsequent action. Smart heroine and other characters. Looking forward to reading more about this character!
Missed opportunity
May have rated this higher, but I had gotten this prequel through either BookBub or book funnel for free or cheap, which is the usual way and then, if I enjoy the book, I go for the rest of the series. As I don’t do Amazon or audiobooks, I was upset to find that the remaining 13 books in the series are only available to me as an Amazon e-book or audiobook on Apple so as the title calls attention to a missed opportunity for the author as what would’ve been a 13 book sale is now none.
