A date with numbers

In this book, Vikas Goyal brings out the beauty of numbers by linking it to dates. Dates are special; be it a birthday, or a marriage or work anniversary and if we blend the numeric logic to it, these dates become more special. For example:


If 26th September is written as 26/9, then 269 is 269th day of the year


Or if its 22nd July: 22/7


· 22/7 is the value of pi (approx.)

· 227 = 2*3*5*7 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 7 (where 2, 3, 5 and 7 are first 4 prime numbers)

· In the novel Life of Pi, the protagonist (Pi) survives 227 days


With more than 2000 expressions, the book expresses each of the 365 days of the year using basic mathematics.
