Not a long book but still spicy and had depth to the plot and character development. Loved it

Some of the terminology did not fit the time period. It felt rushed. The characters were described one way, but behaved conversely. The love scene was just weird. It felt like the author was writing to satisfy her own specific desires, rather than writing a coherent story. The lead female, was doing things that she should not have known about, as an innocent in the time period. I stopped halfway through the love scene.

I loved the story and the characters. This is a novella but the story was well crafted and the ending so satisfying.
