A Death in Ueno

Japan's lost decade has left thousands of people homeless, scraping by in parks and cardboard boxes throughout Tokyo. When one of these forgotten men is murdered, his brother hires a private investigator. To find the killer, he must confront police indifference, hostility from the crime syndicate yakuza, and the closed silence of the down-and-out themselves.
