Publisher Description

It's a masterpiece of theatrical craft which, for the first time portrayed the tragic hypocrisy of Victorian middle class marriage on stage. The play ushered in a new social era and "exploded like a bomb into contemporary life".

This particular iBook version of the play cuts off in the middle of the page several pages before the ending.
However, I enjoyed the play a lot.

Do NOT download this version. Pages are missing from the end of the book. Otherwise a great book and play.
