A Festival of Family

Byline: Jan Gottesman Growing up, I was one of a handful of Jews in a sea of Christians. It was impossible to hide my religion, although my parents were not overly religious. Our synagogue, where they sent me two afternoons per week after school for religious classes, was across the street from my elementary school and around the corner from my junior high.
