Customer Reviews
Sorry, but I found this short story disappointing.
Humanity is under evaluation by an extraterrestrial observer of the life of a televangelist. The story begins with the preacher's secretary spread and detached on his desk. The action is interrupted by an interview with the ET and when the story returns to the secretary she seems eager and excited. It is inconsistent. There is plenty of scope for satire which isn't realized. There are some good lines and observations here but it isn't enough.
Interestingly, there is a sample of another story included with "A Foolish Consistency" which holds more promise.
