Another Great Adventure with Sam & Rufus
A Friend in Fire by Gregory Ashe and C.S. Poe was given to me in exchange for an honest review. Rufus and Sam are back after 3 months of being separated. Rufus needs Sam when he finds himself in trouble because he wants to look into his mother’s death again. Sam realizing he would do anything for Sam even if it endanger the both of them. I really loved this book as much as the first. The rhythm and snarkiness between Sam and Rufus is quick and fun. You can tell they adore each other even when their PTSD and panic attacks hit they are there for one another. The mystery on who killed Rufus’s mother and her past kept me intrigued until the end. The descriptions of New York Made you feel as if you were there in the subway rides to the parks. I am really looking forward to the next installment.
