A Gift of Nature

This title is special as it represents 20 years of CEMEX contributing actively to the most relevant conservation efforts in the world. A visionary initiative that we launched when the global awareness on sustainability issues was still in a very infant stage.


The new publication will be a synopsis of the last 20 years of groundbreaking CEMEX Conservation Series. This title gets together the most prestigious scientific authors and world-renowned photographers to create an engaging publication that encapsulates the myriad of conservation messages and advanced science that our innovative series have achieved.


CEMEX is greatly honored to have collaborated with a number of highly respected organizations in the publication of this new volume including Conservation International, International Union for Conservation of Nature, The Wild Foundation, Bird Life International and other relevant conservation organizations.


For our part, CEMEX reaffirms its commitment to the conservation of our natural resources. We are proud to present encouraging actions that can and must be taken towards the conservation of our natural world.


About CEMEX Conservation Series:


This series is part of our commitment to promote a culture of biodiversity awareness and conservation among our stakeholders. We publish a new title each year that illustrates strategies and diverse approaches to foster the protection of our natural world, complemented by powerful images from the world´s best nature photographers. We have distributed these through both the public and private sectors, including universities. We have also donated thousands of the different volumes to conservation organizations to help them fund their projects. Together, we are working to promote a global culture of environmental awareness.
