A Pleasant Overview of a Major Contributor to Science
The story is told well and complete with a good balance of science and the story of the Sloan. You get a good feel for the politics that went into the project and the challenges of such a large collaboration. Not to mention the great science that came out of it.
I was intrigued by what I thought would be an intelligent, articulate book which would echo my love of science and the universe. I wasn't prepared for short, unimaginative sentences, dull dialogue, and foul language. Unless you love the "f" word -- skip it!
