Will a shared passion be enough to help these polar opposites find true love?
Army Ranger Jason Case loved everything about his profession—especially the fact that it let him walk away from his family’s fortune. But when an IED ends his career, he’s expected to take the helm of California’s biggest name in wine like nothing ever happened. Broken and desperate to make a fresh start, Jason accepts an invitation from his closest friend to join Resolution Ranch.
Prairie’s resident hippie, Millie Prescott, knows she and Jason have a psychic connection. But she didn’t foresee the blistering heat they’d make between them. In a moment of lust-fueled insanity, she convinces the big, grouchy vet to help save her struggling vineyard and put Prairie on the map for heirloom wine.
When Jason’s family resorts to underhanded tactics to bring him back into the fold, Millie and her grapes wind up in the crosshairs. Jason must decide exactly how far he’s willing to go to ensure the woman he loves doesn’t become collateral damage.

Loved the series!
This book was definitely the icing on the cake. Very good series and character development. Really enjoyed it, and look forward to reading more from this author.
A great opposites attract novel! I loved the continuing story line of Resolution Ranch. Millie was just the person needed to help unravel Jason’s tortured heart. And he was the perfect one to help her find a happy medium with life. I loved the chemistry and passion between the two. I enjoyed watching Millie get under his skin. I can’t wait to read updates on Jason’s and Millie in future releases!
A Hero's Home
ARC for honest review with no compensation
A Hero's Home is book 4 in the Flint Hills Military Heroes series by Tessa Layne and again she shows us how hard it is for our military men and women when they return to civilian life. In this book we see how hard it is to accept how after losing a part of his right leg, Jason Case decides that Resolution Ranch is a better fit for moving on instead of returning to the family winery...that is until he meets Millie Prescott, Prairie's resident "hippy" and amateur wine maker. Seems Millie believes fate has brought him to Prairie to find the love of his life..Her...and to help her make a wine that will but both the town and her wine on the map!! Jason doesn't believe her "cosmic fate" but he does know wine making and decides he will help her out but wants no strings...except there are sparks that he can't explain.
Is Millie right that fate has brought her soulmate, someone one to help put her wine on the map, and have her HEA or is it just wishful thinking?
