Fierce Highlander & Fiery Lady
I started this story before realizing it was part of a series so I don’t know the histories and such. I followed the storyline easily, but probably those who have read the other books will be more invested in the characters and plot.
Cailean is sexy, strong and fierce, everything a girl wants in her Highlander. He’s a bit heartsick in the beginning and makes some bad decisions which come back to haunt him.
More than one man desires to make Temperance his wife, but none can win her heart before Cailean. Her name isn’t fitting at all. She’s outgoing and headstrong, and she’s sometimes quick to react before thinking through.
Although Cailean and Temperance are not always on the same side of a situation, the reader can feel the inevitable pull between them. A Highlander’s Christmas Kiss has love, death, romance and action. There are also plenty of side characters to that draw the reader’s attention. The villains are really easy to hate, and the heroes are likable.
